Dead Whistle Stop (2022)

Dead Whistle Stop is a 20min RTS award-winning surreal thriller that follows Daniel who works in an office that makes holograms. On the way to work he stumbles across a dying man who asks him to deliver a letter. Though he’s not sure who the dying man is or where the person he’s delivering it to lives. Or what, if anything, it has to do with his new office neighbours, The Illuminated Brotherhood of the All Seeing Eye. Streaming for free now on Omeleto here

Future Perfect (2019)

Commissioned by Channel 4 and narrated by Julian Barratt Future Perfect is a 5min experimental short that follows a child's drawing of their parents as it is placed in a time capsule until the earth dries to a husk. Found by a future race, the drawing becomes the blueprint for a twisted new version of humanity. Future Perfect premiered in competition at the BAFTA and Academy Award qualifying Encounters Film Festival before being selected for Short of the Week following its festival run.

C4: Sparks (2020)

Commissioned by Channel 4 and NE Comedy Hot House for Sparks this short is a WiFi inspired comedy sting written by Hal Branson and directed by Sean McKenna for the Channel’s new short form comedy strand aimed at reaching audiences online.

Hot Gulp

Between 2011-2016 Sean was also one third of comedy production company Hot Gulp writing, directing and performing short form comedy including sit-com Storydweller which was in funded development with Channel 4 and Bonafide Films alongside creating their own viral hits and short form comedy.
